The coral colonies off Ishigaki Island are some of the biggest and most varied in the world next to that of the Great Barrier Reef. It is said to be the most reliable place to view magnificent creatures, manta rays called 'Manta Point' is located just off Kabira's coast.

Island Hopping

Ishigaki Island is a gateway to the Yaeyama Islands. You can visit 10 different islands on the high speed boat through Ishigaki Island. You can also enjoy a day trip to the popular islands, Taketomi Island where old Okinawa landscape remains, and to Iriomote Island which is said to be the Galapagos of the Pacific
